How much does it cost to install a new boiler?

A new boiler installation starts at £1800 (including parts and labour). If you would like a more accurate quote you can use our quoting software below.

We also offer 0% finance options to spread the cost.

Will a new boiler be cheaper to run?

Yes, all boilers we install are A rated meaning you new boiler will be more economical and will reduce the cost of your energy bills. 

What does a boiler installation include?

Every new system installation as standard includes:

  • Removal and disposal of your old boiler 
  • Installation of the new boiler
  • Central heating system flush
  • Balance of your heating system (to ensure even heat distribution around your home)
  • Gas tightness test (to ensure there are no leaks in the system)

We can also tailor our visit to include any other work you may require - just ask your engineer when he completes your home boiler survey.

How do I apply for 0% finance?

We offer 0% finance on any Worcester Bosch boilers that we install. 

When you speak to a member of our team to organise your boiler survey, let them know you are interested in finance and they can share all of the relevant information with you to make the process as stress free as possible.

How long does it take to install a new boiler?

Installing a new boiler can take anywhere between 1 - 2 days depending on the complexity of the job.

We will give you a more accurate idea of how long it will take when we come to complete our boiler survey.

Is installing a new boiler a messy job?

We do our absolute best to keep your boiler installation as mess free as possible, and pride ourselves on leaving your home just as we found it. 

We will provide and lay sheeting for wherever we need to go within your home, relay floorboards and carpets if they need to be lifted, and cover worktops to avoid any marks. 

How do I know if I need a new boiler?

There are many reasons you may need to get a new boiler, for example, if it is slow to heat up your home, if it is old (and so uneconomical), or if it has stopped working altogether. 

Your heating engineer will let you know if there are any concerns with your boiler when they carry out your servicing, or if you think that you may need a new boiler in the interim we offer a free no obligation quote.

Can my new boiler be positioned somewhere new?

Yes, we can reposition your boiler if needed.

You will need to let our engineers know when they complete your boiler survey that you would like to have it moved, and our engineers will be able to offer expert advice on where it would be best positioned.

Dependant on where you decide to move the boiler we will update your quote to include the additional piping required.

How much does a boiler service cost?

Our boiler servicing starts at £50 + VAT. To get booked in, give us a call, or fill out the form below. 

How often does my boiler need to be serviced?

Your boiler needs servicing annually to keep it in top condition and to validate any warranties or guarantees you may have.

What is done during a boiler service?
During a service, your engineer will remove, inspect and clean the main components in the boiler to ensure they are fit for purpose and have no noticeable defects. 
 
Simply put, we will make sure your boiler is in top condition and spot any faults before they cause you issues.
What happens if I don't service my boiler?

If your boiler goes unserviced, you will lose any warranty or guarantees that you may have had, you may have underlying issues with your boiler that won't be diagnosed, and could even have a gas leak.

Your boiler may also run less efficiently, meaning that your energy bills could become higher. 

How long does servicing a boiler take?

Servicing a boiler takes around 30 minutes on average, meaning we can work around your busy day.

Are radiators checked in a boiler service?

Unlike a Gas Saftey check, your service will focus primarily on your boiler. However, if we notice or are made aware of any corrosion or other issues we would be happy to take a look and give you advice. 

Can any plumber do a boiler service?

Is it worth repairing a boiler?

Depending on what the issue is, and the age of your boiler it may be worth repairing it rather than getting a whole new system.

Our engineers will be able to advise you on the best course of action when they have diagnosed the problem. 

Can I repair my boiler myself?

Do not try to fit, fix or move gas appliances such as boilers or cookers – you must use a Gas Safe registered engineer who has the right skills to carry this work out safely.

Unsafe gas work can lead to a gas leak, fire, explosion or exposure to carbon monoxide.

Is it better to repair or replace a boiler?

Depending on the age and condition of your boiler, and what the issue is, our engineers will be able to advise on the best, most cost effective course of action to get your central heating system back up and running. 

How long does fixing a boiler take?

Depending on the issue, the time for fixing a boiler can vary. Our engineers will diagnose the problem, organise a solution and get you back up and running as soon as possible - all while keeping you up to date with their progress. 

What are the most common boiler issues?

There are many faults that can happen to a boiler. Some of the most common are a frozen condense pipe or low pressure which are easily fixable.

When speaking to your engineer, give them as much information as possible as well as any fault codes you can see on the boiler, so they can offer you the best advice and get your heating system back up and running as soon as possible. 

How can I get hot water with a broken boiler?

If you have a traditional system with a hot water cylinder you may have an emersion built into your cylinder, which should allow you to have hot water. 

Unfortunately, a combi boiler doesn't have a way to produce hot water once it is broken. 

If you find yourself without hot water please get in touch and our engineers will get you back up and running as soon as possible.

Is a broken boiler an emergency?

Yes, a broken boiler is treated as an emergency.

How do I know if I need to replace my pipes?

If there are signs of corrosion or leaks in your pipework it may be time to replace them. 

Our engineers may spot this when completing a boiler service, or if you are concerned we can take a look and offer advice.

How much does it cost to repipe an entire house?

The cost to repipe an entire house would depend on the size, number and location of radiators as well as other factors. 

We will be able to give you a firm quote once our engineers have seen your home.

How can I move a radiator?

We would never advise a homeowner to move their own radiator. 

If you would like to have a radiator moved, give us a call and our engineers will be able to advise and provide a rough quote. 

Can you fix my water pressure?

Low water pressure can be caused by many factors. Depending on the issue, we may be able to resolve this for you. 

Our engineers will be able to diagnose the issue and provide a resolution if it is possible to improve your water pressure.

Can you install a new bathroom?

No, unfortunately we don't install new bathrooms.

Can you fix a leaky tap?

Yes, we can fix your leaky tap - no job is too small.

What do I do if I find a leak?

If you find a leak, you can get in touch with us and we will send out an engineer as soon as possible to get it fixed.

If the leak is uncontrollable, you may want to switch your mains water off via the stopcock until we can repair it.

What a fantastic team!! Scott Tom and Lee came to replace our boiler and Radiators, they ripped out all of our old system which was quite a big job as we had tanks in the loft and a few obstacles to tackle.They kept working solid for 2 whole days and definitely great team work! Scott kept us informed step by step of everything they had to do and what we needed to know and cleaned up when they were done.Definitely great value for money which was very reasonable. job well done! 100% recommend to family and friends! Scott and his apprectice were very professional and friendly. Communication to arrange the service to our boiler and thermostat installation was easy and appointment was arranged swiftly.Unfortunately, we are having trouble programming the thermostat. Scott has offered to come back tomorrow morning first thing to help us out. Great service all round, would highly recommend!
